You are my first

So here it is, my very first blogger post, or is it blog post? Hmmm I will have to research that...

I currently live in Salem, Oregon with my loving family that includes, but is not limited to; my handsome partner Adam, amazing Son Brenden, super goofy Step-son Ayden, adorable Daughter Evelyn and two crazy, lazy cats, Bean and Cheese. They are all very supportive in all of my creative endeavors. Probably because they are usually the beneficiaries of those creations.

My mornings usually start by taking the oldest to middle school. Then feeding, bathing, entertaining, changing, reading to, in general, making the littlest one happy. I pour myself a cup of hot coffee, or if I am lucky enough, my Lovie (sappy I know), will offer me a cup of deliciousness. Then, I sit down at my laptop for my ritual of checking facebook, my mommy group, emails, pinterest(one of my faves), maybe a sprinkling here and there of a little online window shopping, and WAY too many blogs to list. It was actually the blog of an acquaintance of mine, Cait at Ms.C and Miss E, who got me interested in trying it out for myself.

I have spent many years sewing, crocheting, knitting,  decorating, organizing, cooking, baking, painting, planning and putting together themed birthday parties, scrap booking, and card making (I think I am missing a few, Ha!). I have read lots of craft/DIY blogs, and I have even gotten some great ideas for my own projects from them. I love learning new things and have many interests when it comes to creating. I am constantly creating, so I decided to share my ideas with you! Ha! Don't you feel lucky?
